EXCITEMENT EXCITEMENT EXCITEMENT!!! Spring is here and Summer is around the corner. This means put away your heavy coats and bring out the dresses, skirts, and shorts. What items are currently capturing my attention??? Maxi skirts! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE how cute and comfy the maxi skirts are. Since my obsession with chambray button downs have yet to subside-it is the perfect way to pair this classic jean top with any color maxi.

If you are not sure how to do this, fear not, I have included some photos that are a sure way to make your outfit look AMAZING. But please please please consider the following when purchasing a maxi:

1. Length: Your maxi skirt should be no longer than the base of your ankle. For us ‘short’ ladies, any longer will not help but hurt our lack of height.

2. Accentuate: Pair a belt just below your rib cage to add a silhouette/hour glass shape.

3. Flow: Although I love the tight fit maxi skirts-try to incorporate a loose, sheer maxi. This style is cute and feminine.
